  • What's the size of the watch?

  • so fucking overprice hell there are houses you can buy lesser than this watch

  • My dad has this watch, funny thing is; at the end of the day its just a watch...

  • These watches are extremely expensive!!! Over 400k damn!

  • @eatvids I believe you can buy this model for $300K ... really quite affordable in my opinion.

  • @JaegerLeMaserati Yea 300k for a watch is just insane. Anyway thanks for your opinion.

  • Ugly...

  • i wouldn't even swap my volkswagen for that ugly watch

  • My favorite watch brand .... but how can a watch cost as much as a Ferrari! There's no reasoning for that ... what a joke.

  • greubel, parmigiani, gp ,nardin vach and others are meant for true collectors watch makers and enthusiasts who can appreciate the evolution of yesteryears technology in the face of electronic digital evolution.Watches are obsolete really -we have phones to tell time. These things may cost a lot of money but they are beautiful conversation pieces that usually attract interseting people like yourself. If youre on the sidelines and cant play- use them as inspiration for success -something to acheive

  • @hexson2130 Ulysse nardin and Vacheron Constantin are pieces of art and heirloom quality watches.

  • These watches cost $100,000! I know the quad-tourbillon cost over 600,000! thats nuts! I want one

  • Heh :-)

  • At least the Chinese stuff is affordable whereas the Swiss items are vastly expensive.

Drop a Swiss tourbillon and it is just as easily ruined. Different things for different markets.

But beware the Chinese are getting better all the time.

  • There is a Chinese tourbillon movement for under $1000. Buy one, and you'll be looking for a repair within a few years.

  • To be fair- that would still be many times cheaper than buying a GF, and god (and a select few customers) only knows how much a GF costs to service. But you dont buy an exquisite low-volume luxury masterpiece if all you're after is a reliable watch that tells the time.

  • About how much would one of these cost?

  • 228,000 euros

  • Yea, and this is absolutly a bad joke. Why can a watch be so expensive? In china there are tourbillons available for 1000.- euros.

  • No friend its not a joke.. this is the right answer =)

i am sure a bout it ... i live in Paris, and 100% sure about the price =)

  • He's telling the truth, don't be so quick to say that it's a 'bad joke' you look like an idiot - why do you think that every tourbillon watch should cost the same amount? This here is very special, not just an ordinary tourbillon watch, and Greubel Forsey can make a few tens of them a year at a MAXIMUM so it's not like any of the bulk buy chinese shit you're used to.

  • I absolutly know, that this watch is so expensive. You misunderstood my posting. I only mean that it´s a hotdog to require so much money FOR A WATCH! Look the chinese...they manufacture a turbillon for less than 1000.- Euro. Thats what I mean.

  • Oh, ok then :D Well, sounds like China's the place for a bargain when it comes to tourbillon watches - assuming the quality's good at least.

  • Do you remember the time where the japans pictured our german cars!? today the japan cars are better than ours;-)

  • That would make a good argument if you were talking about watches made in Japan, you're comparing Chinese watches to Swiss watches, not Japanese watches to Swiss.

Do some looking around of Hajime Asaoka, he's producing genuine tourbillon from his own design, the Chinese, even if it is their own design usually fail to even acknowledge themselves as having made such a complex timepiece, instead they let them be branded with fake names and made into "replicas".

  • Don't associate the Japanese with Chinese watches, they're not the same nation at all and don't have anything to do with those inexpensive Chinese-made tourbillon.

  • but japanese do not have a tourbillon watch. they only got seiko

  • Look up Hajime Asaoka, he's an independent watchmaker who just finished his first tourbillon calibre.

  • Dude, you cannot compare Swiss quality to Chinese sweat shop junk. That is why there is a price difference. Duh

  • Of course I can! The Japanese have photographed European cars and today they are better than European Cars. Swiss movements are not better than asia eta movements you bum!

  • You are seriously stupid. There is no such thing as Asian Eta. ETA is a Swiss movement company that has been knocked off by the Asians but their quality does not compare!

  • No, that ist not right, my friend!

  • You just contradicted your self pal. REQUIRE? Think about the craftsmanship of this watch. A painting can sell for $ millions; watches are no different so stop comparing apples to oranges. The Chinese make high volume dollar store shit.

  • Do some research before you think you know something. The watch is a six figure watch. G.F. also has one for $690,000 USD.

  • It looks like the watch has something growing on the left side. Ew...

  • looks like terminator after duell;)

  • sehr schöne Uhr
