hey netmaster78:plsssss would u make a vid ..not long...just showing the engine so i can see where everything goes..and where dose the cabel that indicates the RP/M goes on the engine..id be grateful i rcently bought an aprilia rs 125 1998...and it came whit no cabels on the bord...PS the bord dosent tunr on when the light dose at night i can not see anything...pllls help me!
inform me man when you change map i want to see it i am stressed to see injection in rs because i read before ten years in No1 magazine MOTO in greece that aprilia will put injection to rs125.
See you and i wait for answer dont forget me
netmaster78 ok have a good tune up and if you can put programm in too this is more powerfull.
acutally the engine has a damaged bearing, so i´m not able to put it onto a dyno. the engine becomes repaired and slightly tuned at the moment. after the assembly i have to change the mapping and then i will put it on a dyno. lets see what it will score out :)
Nice, and how do you make the pre-mix?Turn oil in gas tank or made some modification to the injector?I still prefer carbs, they're much more simple, and more easier to adjust,or tune, and onestly,i kind of hate this modern electronic piece of crap.
The throttle body, like the carb, has a connection for the stock oilpump, so no hassle with pre-mixing. That would be some kind of stupid anyway, cause i´m using fuel-cut while riding of throttle.
Its not up to me to decide whether you like or dislike "electronic crap" but ask yourself one simple question: how long do YOU need to change the carb setting? ;-) I can do it within seconds and without dirty fingers. :-)
I understand you,but i'm more old-fashion when it comes to bikes, especcially 2 strokes.I still prefer carbs over injection,a loud performance over a silent sport exhaust, even tough i perfectly know the consequences, just because that's what 2 stroke bikes are all about.let's say you mount a performance exhaust, and a free-flow air filter, can you adjust the injector to handle the extra air ,kind of like going up on jets, getting a bigger jet?Cheers.
Of course i can adjust it, the map is devided into 12(load) x23(rpm) sampling points where each is free adjustable. So if the engine becomes to lean e.g. with a sport exhaust, then i can richen/lean the mixture in every of the 276 possible points.
Why do you think carbs raise the power? In fact, they DO NOT raise anything except the fuel consumption. people use carbs because they´re much cheaper and they´re much easier to adjust.
Put it on a dyno in stock condition, measure the power. tune it like you want and measure again. THEN and only then we can discuss whether there is more hp or not. everything else is just blind discussion without even knowing the basics.
@netmaster78 more fuel more power its the same as a turbo to be honest mate, it increases the amount of air goin in so ud then have to add more FUEL which goes throug the carb. oh and carbs arent cheap becuase like a car if youve got fuel injection you have to get stand alone management (Y) now try and tell em i dont know what im saying
People put bike carbs on their cars because they're cheaper to set up than throttle bodies, and you can adjust them without needing a computer. Yes, they do generally give you better performance than a cars STANDARD fuel injection, however the fuel consumption goes through the roof at the same time. Carbs arent very efficient. The people that are very serious about performance and want the most power go for fuel injection with throttle bodies! Its much more precise and efficient than carbs.
I believe 99.9% of 2 Strokes are carbs for one reason.
Injection isn't right for the way a 2 Stroke motor works. Aprilia themselves tried it on the SR50, but it broke alot so they reverted back to carbs. However I say well done for doing it xd
DI-Techs running perfectly under every kind of situation. The reason why they weren´t sold very much is, that those "tuning-professionals" didn´t had a real chance to sell tuning stuff. as long as your ecu isn´t free programmable, you will always have people who believe that carbs are better. But if you do a real research, you will find out that theres nothing better than a throttle body injection, except a real direct injection.
indeed, it sounds a bit weired. the connection between the throttle body and the air cleaner isnt were it should be, the engine is running much to rich (take a close look at the smoke from the exhaust) and overall that was the first start with injection. the top of the engine was completely rebuild, so there really much oil everywhere. gi´me 2 weekends to tune it up and sort the last faults out, then i´m going to give some numbers.
Hallo, kannst du mir sagen bitte, welche Software Sie Ihren Laptop an, das Fahrrad anschließen verwendet.
vielen Dank

Nice job but i live by carbs :P. Why do you think people put carbs on there cars to queeze the extra power out (Y)

carbs do raise power dick change the size of a jet and change air filter
