I still dont get how adamantium tips are able to pierce his skin. I mean if bullets bounce off his skin, then having a tranquilizer gun coming at the same speed will have the same results in my oppinion. Guess they had to come up wit SUMPIN to stop em..lol

This garbage about supes downing the hulk because he's got, in addiction to super strength, heat vision, super speed, and cold breath is hardly no longer viable because the real hulk(not the watered down version marvel always compromises with to do a crossover), can take the blast from a nuclear explosion and still be standing. The hulk vs. supes confrontations should be along the same line as the supes vs. doomsday fights. Stop dissing Marvel heavyweights DC

Superman can move planets, survive nuclear explosion and black holes, he flew threw the core of a star. Silver Age Superman was God like, unlimited endurance, travel at the speed of light, didn't need to breath, eat or drink water Superman just gets downgraded these days so everyone else can feel like they can hang with him.
Superman originated in 1938 and is still being published, if the character was even remotely boring/bad, it would of been cancelled long ago. Crappy characters don't stick around for 70+yrs, learn common sense.

The thing is though that all ideas grow old and look different as the times change. We all love comics and we still love superman because of a dedication in our hearts. The Hulk does have Limits. He borrows his energy in a way similar to the Flash using the speed force. He is resistant to psyc powers due to his intellect or rage. He's kicked nearly every telepath in the marvel universe out of his head. Also energy absorbers can drain of his gamma energy. Hes has problems with magic.

Seriously this wasn't Hulk vs Avengers, X-men, etc, this was Hulk gets shot in the back, call it a victory then do community service. Hulk has had only two serious opponents; Wasp and Thor. Thor has killed Hulk twice and Wasp shrunk and shot Hulk's brain till he passed out.

Sure the pre crisis Superman could of ended the fight by killing the Hulk with one punch, but that wasn't in his nature. I think he allowed the Hulk to pound on him, cause he wasn't sure how hard he could hit him. Also the Hulk could get strong enough to start hurting him, but it would take a really long time.

He also had to concentrate to beat Karate Kid after Karate kid was throwing him around, so all his powers might not work all the time, and he has to focus to use them.

@junglemanlawyer1 Superman was knocked and was limp maybe was unconscious he was hit again and spoke as if in pain, it was only after he concentrated and stood still that Hulk didn't hurt him maybe he used density (like Vision does) however in his case he was immobile so maybe with increased density if that was the case he can't move. Didn't work on a red sun as good as Ali was hurting him but he wouldn't maybe couldn't move but received multiple bruises and they declared Ali the winner.

The Hulk does have Limits. He borrows his energy in a way similar to the Flash using the speed force. He is resistant to psyc powers due to his intellect or rage. He's kicked nearly every telepath in the marvel universe out of his head. Also energy absorbers can drain of his gamma energy. Hes has problems with magic.
