This is not the way Francis Scott Key wrote the Star Spangled Banner. She hardly stayed within the melodic phrasing of the song. I'm okay with a little freedom in people's voices. However, this was just a bit much!

It's not only that she flubbed the lyrics. What bothers a lot of us is how she "needs" her melismatic masturbation of the notes (listen to "wave" and "brave"). Her focus on doing that created the flub since her attention was clearly diverted.
