Your crazy for having these things as pets. They ravage stone fruit trees and lay hundred of grubs in a lawn.I always take them out when I see one. And the person below me is even crazier for wanting to breed them. Do all the farmers of this nation a favor by NOT breeding them.
During the summer, these little guys will occasionally fly in through the window. I always hold them and look at them for a minute before letting them go.
Their little wiggling mandibles are SO CUTE!!!
