I saw him perform this with the Nashville Symphony Orchestra... He told the story of how he originally wrote the song for a movie, and it really didn't have a personal connection at the time that he wrote it, but that he has come to know what the song means to him. He dedicated it to his wife and children. I wish I could go back and relive that concert. It was so beautiful...
