  • I'm new to 3ds max so this will probably sound stupid, but how do you get the wheels and body to stay with the dummy?

  • @sourabh723 Who do you mean by 'he'? And if that 'he' is asking for a rig of a proper car, then he can build one himself. :) I am not a free 3D service that produces results on request.

  • hey watch?v=c7ekWmcKZkw could you solve this please

  • hey this is a nice tuto, buti still have problems. when i connect the 2nd dummy to the main dummy, and i did the percentage window.and the when i move the main dummy on the path ..the 2nd dummy moves ahead and ahead the space between main and the 2nd becomes larger and larger................pl solve and help

  • who is car?

I dont linked car to dummy box

  • @armin3dmax English please, I don't understand what you are saying and thus cannot answer your question.

  • this is not tut

  • @armin3dmax Indeed, and it doesn't say it is, so I don't know what you want. :)

  • @onnovanbraam Nope... This is a fucking great tut :)

  • car rigging without car :) only for people with imagination. ok, i get that, its made much better than few i've watched "how to rig wteering wheels".

    helped much, thanks :)

ok, i'm going to find transmission rigging tut and suspension rigging tutorial :)

  • I think it's necessary to activate "Follow" for the slide dummy. At the moment the back wheels aren't at the right place when you move the rear along its path.

However, thank you so much for this helpful explanation! I'm gonna rig my car like this, once it's finished.

  • Indeed, but only for the main dummy, not for the one for the back wheels.

    Glad you like it. :)

  • Sorry, I misunderstood, the slide dummy should indeed have 'Follow' on, you are absolutely right.

  • "+" not function for undefined

  • @c1a1r1los yea i have too this ..

  • Hey man, i'm making an 3D animation for school and found it hard to get my camera to go the way I want, I'm glad something like "guide" lines is in this program!

  • oh i'm glad i found this, just watched your toher one and was completely lost lol

  • Thank you very much man!!

    I love you!!!! ;)

  • does anybody know where i can find a tutorial on how to do this for cinema 4d or is it kind of the same thanks and great tutorial.

  • Thanks a ton for this very patient tutorial, I'm trying it out at the moment and the rig works like a charm. You kinda didn't mention which part of the car to link to what, even though it's not exactly hard to figure out... Could you go into wiring more in another tut? How to set this up with a suspension of some kind maybe? Thanks again, keep it up!

  • thnx alot man i needed this badly

  • Wow, nice rig! I'm amazed by the simple control
