Hello mate. Great vid! Fellow North-easterner working wonders.
Just a quick question, me being me, I went for the iPhone 3GS.....will my iPhone 3GS work with this aswell cos I've heard a rumour that I've got to trawl through the net looking for a specific 3GS car charger?
I've got a Pioneer head unit with the iPod dock like yours and can I hell find an adaptor.
hi, i noticed that it is a bmw you have, can you please tell me where you got the cables to connect your iphone to your car system, i also have a bmw and can't seem to find the cable i need, please help
I have the same setup for my Volvo. My only disappointment is that the male connector is 'friction fit' and, since the in-car cable is hefty, it's quite easy to 'displace' the connector by accident. Might consider the above and getting the extender.
You could also get the iPod dock extender cable, put the Charge converter between the Gateway cable and extension cable and hide the junction behind the dash.
Have you found anything similar to the cable jive as mine doesn't work

That proclip holder is awesome! Did you use a proClip bracket, for your dash, as well?

and we can all thank apple for having to spend another $70 or so on the adapter and cable just to get our ipods to charge in our cars again.
Thanks Apple!
