@FDNYDCFDfirefighter Dboys. They're newer ones are direct clones of the VFC models so it's bound to be better externally, has the upper receiver made of metal and since it's a clone, more of the parts will be interchangeable.
please dont buy this gun its crap dont get ripped off like me i spent $140 and it broke the first day and then i had it fixed and ait broke again DONT buy it buy an echo 1 or something and if u can afford one like me dont get a scar get an cyma m14 for $145
well was gunna do that but i dont really want a heavy gun... because its metal to be honest i like plastic more unless its cheap but i mean ABS and stuff so why dont you think getting the cyma was a bad idea? i just ordered one yesterday....
oh not saying that CYMA is bad, just saying if you want a scar theres better ones out there, CYMA has been awsome lately, i love there new line of mp5s and there galil are just great, also there AKs are also good.
Dboys is the best scar if you are looking for affordable. Actually an amazing gun when it comes to it. G&G makes the best on the market though which is ironically what dboys cloned. However CYMA is the best clone company by far, their aks are amazing, and their m14 is pretty damn good. Really do hate the 030 though EVERYONE wants it and they stopped making it
oooooooooooooooooh ok then definately because Dboys is only around 30-40 dollars more but its well worth not getting what i got the JLS was rushed but JLS's other 2 guns are average they have an F2000 and some other wierd gun that they make... i wouldnt know exactly how good they are but ive heard there ok but dont go out and buy any gun just because someone tells you its good do your research dont buy a piece of shit...
well i live close to an airsoft store, and i get too test out there guns some times. the Dboys is good but its heavy so if your a person that dont like heavy weapons then not the gun for you, FN2000 is ok not the best weapon but its ok for the price, it can go up against high end AEGs, i do like the new Tavor though but thats like 500 bucks, id rather go buy a real S&W 40 for that much.
The reason it's heavy is because it's full metal just like the real one and G&G's so that is NOT a bad thing about the gun that is a GOOD thing about the gun
yeah im just saying that some people dont like heavy or full metal guns, i do its just some people dont, thats why im just recomending something else if you dont want a heavier weapon.
Yea, I have videos of their F2000 and their RX-4 storm, I personally love the rifles, they just rushed the Scar to get it out before the other companies
nice i have this to sept the first day i got it the batery caught on fire i called up airsplat and they sentme a new one tho... any suggestions on gear im kinda new
Hi. This is swordaen again, and i got the scar and the vest u have. 1, the 1 thing i dont like about the vest, its very stiff, hard to move, the scar, i dont like the wobbly stock, and when lengthening/shortening the stock, sometimes the positions get stuck.
In my opinion, this is a great starter gun. It doesn't have a fancy hop-up or a precision barrel or a silenced gearbox, but for your average Joe with $150-$170 it is one of the best you can get. However, one of the only guns that would possibly beat this gun in the $100-$200 range would be the Echo 1 E90. They usually go for about $155. I'll be getting mine soon, within the next three weeks, and I'll have a review up for it as soon as I get it.
Pistols are a bad choice as starter guns, unless every single airsoft match you'll play will be CQB. I'd reccomend any fine product from either Echo 1 or JG. For $100-$180 you can get an excellent starter gun. A pistol would be a secondary weapon: maybe something you'd think about later. However, JLS does make good guns, but I wouldn't reccomend this as a starter gun. It's too much of a hassle to upgrade. Echo 1's products are much better for begginers.
It requires a wee bit of twiddling with the hop up, but usually it shoots pretty tight groups at around 180 feet. The FPS is about 350-375 out of the box, and the cyclic rate of fire reaches about 500 rounds per minute.
i am deciding between this gun and the galaxy mp5k pdw what do you recommend i get?

2.)Can this thing take a 9.6v battery without breaking anything?

Probably just simple painters tape. That's what it looks like.

its to know that its yours, and someimes people put that on cuz the mag seems to wobble or not fit in good so that helps

actully save up and get a dboys scar, or just wait a wile longer and WE tech will have the gas SCAR out for around 200 to 250 bucks.

TheRomanCandle790 2 years ago
ahh true, if you like lighter guns get HK type weapons like G36, mp5, hk416, something along those lines.
theguitarhero3 2 years ago
oh not saying that CYMA is bad, just saying if you want a scar theres better ones out there, CYMA has been awsome lately, i love there new line of mp5s and there galil are just great, also there AKs are also good.

yeah there m14's are great, i also like there full metal mp5, there full metal mp5 blowbacks should be comming soon.
theguitarhero3 2 years ago
yeeaaaa, but G&G is kinda better for not much more when it comes to MP5s and G&G has the blowback system patented
Jarek4 2 years ago
actully the G&G mp5 is the same price as the CYMA one, so yeah i guess G&G for the win.
theguitarhero3 2 years ago

Which manufacturer should I go with? JLS, or Boyi-D Boys
moverchuke 3 years ago
Neither. Go with Echo 1. JLS sucks beyond all belief, and buying D-Boys is basically throwing $100+ into a cheap piece of plastic.
Check back soon, as I'll be posting my review of my new Echo 1 M4 RIS, which kicks the crap outta this gun.
MILSIMRANGER 3 years ago
Boyi-D Boys their cheaper while still having good fps

What r the best bb's out there?
J4AProductions 3 years ago
I wouldn't use anything other than .20 gram bbs, but that's just me.
MILSIMRANGER 3 years ago
@J4AProductions it depends on your gun
if you have a gun that shoots about 300-350 fps a .20 gram would be ideal,
but if you have an upgraded gun that goes about 350-450 fps a .24 or 2.5 would be better.
