Those 4 girls represent the very ones who tormented us all in high school. My heart breaks for the mother, such a tragic moment at her wedding when she is invisble to all. This is one of my most cherished movies of all time. I don't care how that makes people think of me. The entire cast is amazing, and I end up empathizing with everyone in the movie. They are mostly all alone in their unique plights. (Of course, care less about the Bitch Squad and Deidre.) Amazing and touching character development. Hilarious, zany. Toni Colette is amazing. I can't believe she managed to look this homely.
