The at-home Keurig machines are junk, based on what I've heard/read, and that's why I bought the Cuisinart Single Serve =oP Holds 20 oz more water, is quieter, more ergonomic, better built, and boasts more features.
Perhaps it would be helpful if you could indicate what the model number is for the first quiet model. Surely they are not both named b60? Please clarify. Otherwise the vid is pretty useless. Thank you
@ngndoor Both are named B60 Special Edition. The *only* differences is that one is a newer version of that model that says "Quiet Brew" on the front and has a larger overflow tube in the tank area. I think Keurig wanted to draw as little attention to this defect as possible.
My wife bought this Keurig B60 last night. Maker is loud, the coffee is weak weak weak! Even the extra bold varieties and with the Small cup button! As far as "Quiet brew technology" Ha, what a joke, this thing is so loud! I like to wake up to the smell of fresh brewed coffee not the noise of the coffee maker. This thing is going back and I will go back to using my Cuisinart DCC-2000 where I can control how strong the coffee is! VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!
Mine sounds exactly like the 2nd one, annoys the heck out of me!!! My sister bought one and it is sooo quiet! I hate mine, have it sitting on folded towel right now to cut down the noise.
I too went through a few of these machines with the "quiet brew technology" (perhaps a bad batch of pumps?) Customer service was really great about sending out replacements, but what a pain! So, after the demise of the third one I finally broke down and bought the Keurig b200. Yes, it's noisy as hell and if I'm not carefull it will vibrate my travel mug right off the stand and onto the floor, but no pump problems at all.
Sadly, the "quiet brew technology" made the noise better (significantly) but the pumps are terrible, weak, and they break very easily. The problem is widely reported across the web. I am on my 4th of these Brewers now, not one has worked more than a few weeks before the pump goes out.
#2 sounds like a diesel engine. :)

Keurig should pay you for this vid...no narration needed, simply illustrates Quiet-Brew vs not. Well done.

Someone bought us a B60 recently, and it is quiet. The problem I have with it is the coffee it makes is weak. Even with "extra bold" k-cups.

Appreciate the "heads up" on the difference between these two very similar looking models.

Holy crap, I'd get killed if I made that much noise in the early morning. I'd return the one one the right for sure, clearly it's defective.
