THey picked the singer... because she made the video? You have the order of events backwards. Songs are recorded before music videos...
And since this was (as I understand it) an official promotional video for the Beijing Olympics, I'm sure they (whoever was in charge) could have found someone better.
hmm... if you dont mind, plz tell me... how exactly is this an official promotional video.... I've been in Beijing during the olympic games, as far as I know, there wasn't any official english version.. im pretty sure this is an youtube cover
