Yeah, my conversion only cost 80 bucks total. I used Seimitsu parts because I like more tactile feedback but they cost the same. I might build another using Saulabi parts just for Tekken 6. The SE is a great value for do it yourselfers like me.
i dont have a fightstick but i recommend u to try one cuz links are easier on a fightstick cuz u are actually listening to the timimg every time u link or practice in training mode, and that helps a lot , try grabbing your pad like a fightstick and try this link, ken- crouch mp, crouch lp, crouch mk, hadoken, once u figure the timing hold your pad normally and youll see the diference.
LOL i actually did that and i notice the same thing
yesterday i went to gamestop and got my self the SE SFIV Arcade Stick & i notice from the start that you can do things much faster then on a D-Pad and is more precise but since is more precise your inputs needs to be precise as well so is kind of harder to learn then on a normal controller but the end results will be better
I got a looooot to practice is just like learning how to play all over again
where I live is a bit more expensive it cost me $60 10 dollars more then other places but now that I got it i keep hearing about the defects of the joystick and that sooner or later it is doom to fail because of the washer getting loose or something like that
right now I main Sakura & Fei Long when SSFIV arrives i'll waste no time in maining Makoto & Guy
Oh wow, I just checked the prices. It is cheaper. I guess they marked the prices higher on push buttons and joysticks when SFIV came out. That would make sense, at least the price is lower, now that SFIV has been out for a little while.
dude you actually save money modding a se fightstick a sanwa stick ruffly 25$ and sanwa buttons are about 3 $ each so 3X8 equals 24 plus 25 equals 49, then plus 80 dollar fightstick comes to a total of 129 saving 20 dollars on te stick
So in other words turbo is cheating!!!!!

the newer xbox headsets have the volume control higher on the wire, so it doesn't get in the way.
