Advice if you scratch your disk and the machine reads 'unreadable, disc is scratched or dirty': Rent the game, install it to your hard drive. Once that is done, insert the scratched disc, go to Game Library, select the game and press Play From Hard Drive. I scratched my MW2 disc a few days after I got it accidentally. Do this with any game you like and would hate to be scratched.

So a $400 dollar console should be able to scratch the hell out of a cd from just falling over? That seems like a major flaw. Flaws like that, which can destroy a 20-60 dollar cd forever, the console shouldn't have even been sent out on the market with flaws like that. Not like he full on kicked it. He just tapped it and it fell over. Game scratched to shreds. All i'm saying is that the xbox is a pile of shit if just by falling over it will scratch a disc so it is completely unusable.

And no the Xbox is crappy because your not supposed to have something that heavy fall over. It would probably depend on where it fell from though but you still have to be careful if you know you spent it on $400 dollars, like jumpyed said you have to be careful on where to place, like a laptop so don't go saying the Xbox360 sucks after a fall from wherever.

Yes tipped over, it didn't fall from some massive height, no it tipped over... xbox 360 should replace everyons games who get scratched that horribly. No other system has had that problem, the scratching of discs has only been known to the xbox 360, ps3 doesn't have that problem, ps2 didn't have that problem, Wii doesn't have that problem... xbox 360 has had the most problems out of any other console system.

@IHeartTV123 I bought the Xbox Elite right before it started selling for 300 dollars. The xbox was standing vertically on the ground, bro bumped into it, it fell over and i heard a sound. Sounded like cutting a metal pipe in 2. My issue is with microsoft, is that when this happens, they will not replace your game, unless it is manufactured by microsoft. So now im an extra 60 dollars in the hole since i had to guy buy another copy since microsoft couldn't replace my 3 month old game. Thanks xbox.

@IHeartTV123 Matter of fact... the Xbox 360 is complete shit. Barely tilting the console while its on and there is a cd inside, it will scratch the fuck out of the cd. I tilted the back of my xbox up about half an inch to plug in the ethernet cable... Scratched my halo: ODST disc to shreds. I also have a ps3 and it doesn't have that problem, the xbox 360 is old technology and has quite a bit of problems. Even a laptop doesn't have that issue, they're more sturdy... face it, the xbox 360 sucks.
