In the earlier seasons Jon was the most helpful husband ever! Seriously, I didn't see him sit down once, and you always saw him bathing and dressing the kids and brushing their teeth, etc. Kate's work was organizing and was mostly light compared to his load.
Kate was always belittling him. That just got worse in season 4 when she kept leaving for long periods of time on the book tour and would come back angry.

it was first on the Discovery Health channel, then switched to TLC. It was meant to be educational I guess. But people now take it to be one of those mindless "reality" shows, which it has become. The show now is just trying to live up to the ratings.
I am pretty sure the divorce has hurt the both of them and now that rumours are starting I'm sure thats not helping either. The people I feel for are the kids because, they probably don't understand what is going on yet.

Yeah. But the terrible thing is that these young children are going through this very sad change. The sextuplets may not understand yet, but the twins definately know whats going on. Another beef I have with this show is that I think that the children are being used. Jon in the first place didn't want the show. Kate did since she was making any money because of all of the kids. This show is all staged and unrealistic. The way the kids are pampered is going to end up hurting them in the future.
Those poor children who have to grow up with this. They can not have this for their lives. It will ruin them. They need to stop the show and actually get their life together whether it is divorce or not. They need to stop thinking about themselves and start refocusing on their kids. I watched the show from day one and you can see Kate's transformation. Someone on YouTube should take all the video out there and do a massive morphing of Kate. She started as this nice wife and mother and you can see the deterioration. It's so sad. In the beginning, very loving, then ending with "Jon, don't breathe that way!!!" She was nice to him at the beginning of the show and then she becomes a diva. Jon is a nice guy and funny sometimes. She is not easy to be with but I do think that she is a good mother.

I don't blame Jon. Kate's selfish insecure trash. Jon is the nicest person. He's the best father. He never gets angry or flips out even when he could on Kate. It's just my opinion of this whole mess.

well he cheated and got his ears pierced and is all gross now and really i think it is some what kate's fault but mostly jon's she even said that he wouldn't talk to her and if he really cared about the kids he would try to resolve his problems with kate... i mean think about it these kids will see they're dad on all these major magazines with some nasty women and then feel like they lead him to that and i mean really.... If that were your father what would you think?

Yeah. But the terrible thing is that these young children are going through this very sad change. The sextuplets may not understand yet, but the twins definately know whats going on. Another beef I have with this show is that I think that the children are being used. Jon in the first place didn't want the show. Kate did since she was making any money because of all of the kids. This show is all staged and unrealistic. The way the kids are pampered is going to end up hurting them in the future.

Those poor children who have to grow up with this. They can not have this for their lives. It will ruin them. They need to stop the show and actually get their life together whether it is divorce or not. They need to stop thinking about themselves and start refocusing on their kids. They always say it is for the benefit of their kids but so far it seems like it is only to buy Kate fancy clothes,spa days, tanning salons and so on; and to buy Jon a new car that the kids cant go in!
