@BGoneF The Optoma HD66 had an HDMI input on it so i just used an HDMI to HDMI cable to connect the two

@MrYoda1972 Well i have just bought a new 1080p projector Optoma HD180 and built a new screen this past week and the dimensions are 124"x70"

@MRxLAGGER the Projector worked very well image was very clear and pixiels were crisp up close, i have not tried 3D, too cheap to buy glasses. I have actually sold my HD66 and Bought the HD180 1080p one

I have the exact same Optoma projector, but my bulbs cinda busted, i accidentally turned it on str8 after power off, it's bulb was crackling and @ 2nd boot attempt (the 1st failed and the projector went to MAJOR cooldown) color was black and white but flickering color, but it works beautifully, i just wish i had a room that big :(

@BOS6940 lol, the room is under our garage, so nice an sound proof and 1200sq ft so enough room.. updated the room a lil bit again, added a new Polk PSW505 subwoofer

should swap the WII for an Xbox, the WII has shit graphics, and having a PS3 with good graphics and a WII with crap graphics, cinda ruins it if ya know what i mean

Why not? I mean if I had a setup like that, I'd have my Xbox 360 on the massive screen, then PS3 to the right, (I prefer Xbox 360 over PS3 but I wouldn't mind getting one), plus now that kinect is out, if you do put the Xbox 360 on the screen on the right, that dell projector is gonna have to be ceiling mounted.

Your setup your choice I'm just saying what I would do. You've got an awesome setup anyway. I wish I were you :'(

What is a good native quality beamer against a affordable price??

I've looked at the fake HD66 beamer on Ebay, it's around €190 and has native 800X600 resolution and 2 HDMI inputs, supports SD, 720i, 720P, 1080i, 1080P.

Also look on Ebay yourself to see which one I'm talking about.

Can you link me to good native quality beamers on Ebay for a good price?

@TDelementFlipmaster for the native resolution i would recommend at least 800x600. that is what i use for my wii and the ps3 has a 1280x800 native resolution. i have paid 320 for the 800x600 dell mp1100 about 3 years ago with 130 hours on it. which is a good deal i think. there are too many good projectors to list. 800x600 should be a minimum native res. and also make sure that you find one with low amount of hours on bulb and read review on them.

@poolshark152006 On Ebay there are the cheap, brandless beamers for around €200 with a native res of 800x600.

There are also cheaper ones on Ebay, but those only have native res of 800x480 or 640x480 which isn't really good.

I read a lot good and bad reviews about those cheap projector, so I don't know if it would be a good buy.

The projector has a HDMI port and supports all resolutions up to 1080p.

The bulb can take a few thousand hours.

Do you think it would be a good buy??

@poolshark152006 I just found another deal. On a local trade site in my country someone sells a 3M 1024x768 projector for €159/$220, but it's used and only has 1200 hours left. A projector bulb only has 2000 hours time, which is not a lot.

But when the bulb runs out, I don't have a new one. So I searched on Ebay and a new bulb costs around €130/$180.

Should I buy this one?? It's better native quality, but expensive to replace the bulb everytime. Or should I just get the cheap Ebay one??

@TDelementFlipmaster 1200 hours is a lot of hours, most projectores only have like 1000, to 1500 hours. for that price thats a good deal and 3M is a pretty known brand for a lot of good quality things, not sure about projectors but maybe.

@poolshark152006 The cheap Ebay ones have 6000 hours bulbs. I also saw one with 20000 hours, but that one uses LED.

So I should go for the 3M with 1024x768 native or Ebay 800x600 one??

The problem with the 3M is, I don't want to buy those expensive bulbs everytime. Replacements bulbs for the Ebay projectors are only like €25.

Something I didn't mention is that I will use the projector for my PS3.

Is 800x600 still ok on PS3??

@TDelementFlipmaster if they are 6000 hours i cannot imagine them being too good, most of the high end projectors have usually a max of 3000 hours, personally i would go with the 3M one. a known brand name and higher resolution, near 720p native.

@poolshark152006 Ok, thanks for the advice. I'll take a look at it. Only cons are that it's used and expensive replacement bulbs.

If I look at the other videos on YouTube of the fake Ebay projector it actually looks pretty good. But I didn't see a video with it connected to a PS3, because PS3 runs on higher resolution.

@poolshark152006 if you are movies or game lover you will love buttkicker bka 300. go to amazon.com read all the buyers review and nobody dislike it. watching a silly kiddy shrek movie gives me thilling sensation. too bad lot of people never heard about this product. probably the best money i spent since george foreman grill.

@ji3200 yeah i have heard about them and looked at them, only thing im cheap... and they are expensive.. lol. also when i have people over not everyone sits on the couch so would kinda sucks also
