Some of the best music on the Amiga EVER at 14:07 :) Fuck the Amiga was the best and most exciting Computing platform ever created!, along with the C64 of course :).
YOU'RE KIDDING ME.... my amiga died for good a long time ago, while I was playing this... I've always been sad i never finished it... and I find out now I was on the last boss!?!!?! GRRR, I've wanted to conquer this game for years and I pretty much already did x'D
@TheCreepyD Yeah the developers shouldn't have cut the music when you entered the shop, they should have had it continue on from where it left off when you leave the shop. A minor technicality for a great game but given the fact the music was so amazingly good, it is a shame :(
Only thing I didn't like about this game, is that the shops broke up the flow and action of the excellent levels and music. Level 3 is my favourite, but they're all amazing audiovisual works of art.
Gah I loved this remember the furthest I got was the last dude, one life, reactor spewing smoke, collided straight into the wall. Was epic but I failed:(
I'm not into the genre, but this looks like hell of a shooter! The graphical designwork, music and sounds are awesome. And all that stuff happening while you blaze by!
All this from a stock A500 (well a 512KB upgrade) based on the same chipset as the A1000 in 1985. This game really does show what level of power was in our hands 25 years ago :)
wow such panache! demonstration of a very highly evolved art form...for all that technical specifications have advanced since then, i'm not sure that imagination is as good as it was.
really puzzled why they chose marc almond to do the "all systems activated" bit though ;)
I just love all the small graphical details they have in this game. I belive everything here is drawn and animated pixel by pixel, while in other games the objects can feel a bit blurry.
and I love the music, especially the level 3 theme. it is probably one of the wierdest yet most interesting tunes in a game ever. it really defines the madness of this level.
sweet, i loved this game and finished it back at high school. nice music and pretty good graphics, though not so polished as in Project X. i liked that the graphics tended to improve during the game. the upgrade system was also cool as well as the "physics" in the underwater level. yeah, those were the days.. .)
I love this game it is like Banshee for AGA. Maybe enemy's don't have the best iq, but graphic and music is stunning. Gameplay is also great, there's a lot of small details on each level. One thing I don't understood is outro - why main hero die?
How did you made it to run this video at 50fps?

I loved the music on stage 3, back then I'd play the game just to listen to it, avoiding all the shops as it would cut it off.. :D

That second level freaked me out as a kind. I think i got it as a demo for the game from Amiga Power, best gaming magazine ever.

This was probably the greatest looking shooter at the time - and a damn cool game.
The ending was brilliant! :)

technically, it was the best Amiga shooter. And it was not even AGA.

@spectre900 Everything was indeed drawn and animated by hand, pixel by pixel. Great to hear that you like the level 3 tune I did ;)

Maybe You are right, a hero that defend so much ugly monsters can not live with other humans as normal citizen.

Why the hero dies at the end? Shit happens...
But maybe the programmers had a deeper conclusion. However, I don't know it :-)
