There are some American made cars that are just actually nasty; ie. the Corvette Zr-1. That thing is just nasty. Hennessey does make some nice Vipers but with the understanding it will cost WAY MORE THAN AN AMG! You can find decent E55 AMG with decent miles for around $26 K <---Considerably cheaper than the Vette or Viper. When its all said and done the AMG is all about Style and Speed

Thanks, my favorite is the Saleen S7 with the competition package and 1400 HP. THe TT viper and TT vette and TT GT all have almost that power but not quite as much down force in all areas to be safe at 240+ MPH.

go to renntech website and see how much mods were probably put into this car. If its a stage 6 renntech package, probably ogver 20k in upgrades. Renntech says specs are TOTAL HP 650 @ 6100 rpm & TOTAL TQ 640 @ 3600 rpm.
That's a strong statement... Im a big German car fan, but Ferraris have beep making cars that are putting out in excess on 100hp per litre for a while. that's quite an achievement (although Porsche do that too) particularly with a naturally aspirated engine. i.e those Italians are making efficient engines these days.
Family car? It's a high-performance sedan. And it's a great track car, just not as good as the 360 Modena. It's still fast as hell though. And if you want to laugh at a big engine, laugh at the Viper. The only reason that thing is fast at all is because the designers stuck an 8.4 liter engine under the hood.

@slipknotguitar You do realize that the Viper SRT-10 ACR is the fastest production vehicle to have EVER lapped the famous German racetrack the Nurburgring right? Faster than any Brabus or AMG Mercedes, including the SLR, faster than any Audi including the R8, and faster than any Ferrari or Lambo. Not to mention it's relying on a naturally aspirated V10 versus Bi-Turbo V8 and V10 powerplants. Add all that to the fact that it sells for 120K USD versus twice that for the AMG and Brabus Benzes.

No it's not. If the "F" in F360 stands for Ferrari then he would say F360 and not Ferrari F360. There's no such thing as Ferrari F360, only Ferrari 360 Modena. Only the Ferrari F430 carries the F in front of it's numeral.

Thanks, my favorite is the Saleen S7 with the competition package and 1400 HP. THe TT viper and TT vette and TT GT all have almost that power but not quite as much down force in all areas to be safe at 240+ MPH.

go to renntech website and see how much mods were probably put into this car. If its a stage 6 renntech package, probably ogver 20k in upgrades. Renntech says specs are TOTAL HP 650 @ 6100 rpm & TOTAL TQ 640 @ 3600 rpm.

That's a strong statement... Im a big German car fan, but Ferraris have beep making cars that are putting out in excess on 100hp per litre for a while. that's quite an achievement (although Porsche do that too) particularly with a naturally aspirated engine. i.e those Italians are making efficient engines these days.

Family car? It's a high-performance sedan. And it's a great track car, just not as good as the 360 Modena. It's still fast as hell though. And if you want to laugh at a big engine, laugh at the Viper. The only reason that thing is fast at all is because the designers stuck an 8.4 liter engine under the hood.
