  • ASKA!

  • Great video and memories. Proud and happy to say that I enjoyed everyday that I spent there from 1978-81, 1983-87, 1990-94. To me it's my second home.

  • Great. I lived on the Pacific side from 1961-1963, but was often at the Atlantic side Army bases as well as Annual Service Practice for the Hawk missile battery I was priviledged to command. Thanks for the memories.

  • Thank you for reviving many fading memories...especially CHS! Our family was at Ft Gulick 1961 to 1964. I often wonder what it must be like now after all the changes.

  • Oh the memories this has brought back. I loved the Atlantic side.

  • Just great!!!

  • C3, its a great place to be with friends, still is cheaper than Panama city,,

    thnks for this great video

  • Brings back lots of memories. I lived on the Pacific side and rarely went to the Atlantic side, but I lived ther ein the same time period,1973-1976. A nostalgic look at all the things that made living in Panama and in the Canal Zone so memorable...

  • An experience to never forget. I was also on the Atlantic side @ Ft. Davis. Well done!

  • Whoever wrote this was an absolute genius! Every word rings very true to my heart. It expresses what we all feel that at one time walked, played, worked, and lived in the Zone on The Atlantic Side. We had the best side after all. I was at Galeta Island Navy Base - Coco Solo from 1966-1968. "The Zone" will always be in my blood. It was a time like no other in my life. Thanks for the memories.

  • The Atlantic side was my life from 1964-67 as an Army Brat on Ft. Gulik. Thanks for this great memory! I miss empanadas, rose apples, chinese plums, guavas and about a billion other things that made living in the CZ so unique. It's all gone now but for some great memories. Many thanks again!
