Growing Giant Pumpkin Halloween Plangarden

nice time elapse! i planted 12 seeds on 5/14 in time for halloween for my boys, 10 sprouted and most of the vine are about a foot long already! I'm pysched!

It was a cool project that took all summer. That sad news was that when the plant decided to fruit it has several false starts. The first two pumpkins that I started taking pictures of turned yellow and died when they were volleyball size. The final pumpkin that was left was deformed and looked worse then the first two. I didn't bother taking pictures of it. It survived and got just over 100 lbs. Not bad for the reject that it was. The pumpkin was deformed and ended up looking like a skull.
