In real life you can't land on this runway with a 767

@ACjazzRules It's feasible but not suggested. 7/25 is 6,200 feet long by about 75 feet wide. Turning around on the threshold of 7 would be a hassle, but it is possible to land a 767 (empty of course) on 25.

Ok, there are two things wrong with this video.

First, Emirates has never flown into or out of Calgary International Airport (CYYC). Second, Runway 7-25 is a General Aviation runway, and is too short (both in length and width) to allow a heavy aircraft such as a Boeing 767-300ER to land on it. I have never seen nor heard of any commercial airliner having used Runway 7-25.

I think CYYC is what the aviation industry uses to show that the airport is in Canada

No, Its CYYC now, YYC is the old version. All of Canada's airports are going to have a C infront of the name now.

They are different codes. The 4 letter codes (eg. CYYC) are ICAO codes, and the 3 letter codes (eg.YYC) are IATA codes. They are both used in real life and in the simulators. You get the IATA code on your luggage (eg. YYC, LHR, JFK etc.) It is in North America that the ICAO codes are the IATA codes with either a C (Canada), K (USA) or P (Pacific regions like Hawaii and Alaska) in front of them :)
