  • Comment removed

  • that was amazing! :D thanks for sharing! and I must ask - did they both survive?

  • Aww thats so sweet :) I want some twin chickens :p

  • congrats!

  • You are SOOOOOO luck because it is VERY VERY VERY rare to happen :) so good for you and pluse what breed is that and they are VERY cute:D.

  • May I say well done check out my channel plzzzzz

  • have done that with only one chick in the egg 2 would be near impossible well done

  • You can use white thread and tie off their cords when you help them so they don't bleed any. I love your twins cool!

  • Dummb Bitch. Y u using a knife?!'

  • Is there anything a miracle blade can't do?

  • I didn't know you can do that!

  • Congrats!!!! Love chickens they make great pets!! Not food, least not for me:) u did great mom!

  • I congratulate you on your success!

  • SHE USED A KNIFE , Obviously you can tell she a dumb ass, ok i understand the not messin up the membrane but damn... tough love

  • I dont give a damn she tried to kill them chicks and she know it... frsh blood my ass

  • Awwwwwhhh :') FRY THE BITCH!

  • Gotta say, that was done with surgical precision. 2 out of 2 is a great effort with what could have been a tricky situation. Hats off to you!

  • that was AWESOME!!! thank you so much for posting.. :-)

  • em we have a cockeral who has just matured at home and I was wondering how you cn tell the difference between a fertilized egg to a normal egg please repy :)

  • you where very careful i like how you roll -.- very asome make more vidios:)

  • shes so slow one of the chicks could have died....

  • @MrClarence101 I'm sorry but I'm bot embarrassing or harrasing you .of course she needs to be slow. it needs to be slow because if you work fast they are dead when got out. Look at the top comments. Duhhhh Use your mind..

  • what a facinating video ! please check out my channel!

  • she sounds cute

  • I COULD HAVE GROWN OLD AND DIED WAITING FOR THAT TO BE DONE

  • sad and ironic, they started off their little lives being prodded at with a knife on a dining room table while most chickens end off their lives that way

  • @ilavayou2lolipop read the top comments. They cant get out with out human help.

  • @Sumgui2009 i did read the top comments, my comment says nothing contrary to that. i know the woman was helping not hurting, i was simply noting the irony of the situation.

  • Egg Surgery

  • now those chickens have been eaten

  • Cat lady of chickens

  • Mystery Video?

  • Callux sent me.

  • teehee

  • OMG Yu Basterds They Have Beeks You Know Thell Come OUt On There Own!!!!

  • Eh, I would have done the same thing. This is a very rare occurance and she probably saved their lives.

  • that is so wrong but it is good

  • identical twins?!

  • and they were much more active once they were born.

  • To those of you who thought this was cruel, it really isn't. You do have to be extremely careful when it comes to aiding a hatching chick (in this case two). The only concern I had was when you started peeling the membrane off them right before they came out of the shell. If not done properly the chicks can bleed out. They are two beautiful looking chicks :D, well done! Btw, how long did it take for them to move around a bit more (I only saw them snoozing hehe). I've hatched chicks before

  • I DON'T WANT TO HURT THE NEWBORNS *attacks egg with knife*

  • Why don't you all just shut up? For one, if this egg had been left in a nest and a hen had gone broody, it would have incubated anyway. Two, she wasn't 'poking at it' with a knife. Look closely and grow up. Three, if she hadn't helped them out they would have probably died. She did everything fine. If you have a weak chick that has pipped already but is going over 12-24 hours then they may be too weak to hatch on their own. This way, when she helped them out she was more then likely saving them

  • U really showed how you knew absolutely nothing about incubating eggs! Next time do your homework before putting innocent creatures thru so much! Too much that was so un necessary!

  • @mmmbrock YOu are a moron.

  • Let me start with WHY in the hell would you set a double yolker

  • That is amazing! I would think without help they would not have had room to push open the egg shell they were very cramped. She saved their lives. Did they grow up looking identical?

  • how the fuck would you know when thier ready to come ot u fagg

  • people keep saying its cruel to use a knife to poke the egg

but at least she didn't poke through the membrane

well, what about you? how do you feel being inside a coffin with another guy huh?

  • Aww! They're so cute!

  • did they make it? how are they today.

thanks for posting that vid, I've never seen twin chicks before.

    Nava.

  • will you people shut up. ive lived on a farm for half my life you can help a chick out of the egg if it is too weak so quit your complaining about how your not sposed to do that you can if its needed.

  • never help them!!!!

  • happy birthday !!

  • hi!=D

  • Happy Birthday Chickies!

  • Overriding nature never works.

  • YEA! LET'S USE A KNIFE! THAT'S A GREAT IDEA...

  • @Phoenixx713 what do you want to use? a spoon?

  • @Phoenixx713 i know you mean well, but twin chicks can be too weak to get out of the egg on their own and need help or they will die. im sure this person knows what shes doing or she wouldnt use a knife on a tiny, fragile, chick egg which she obviously cares for.

    just saying :)

  • it was so sad when i was at a friends and we had baby chicks (eggs) and they died :(

  • dont you know it extremely hurts the chicks chance of survival if you hatch them like that? it prevents them from gaining a majority of the muscle mass they will need for their first few days and they will be weak and suceptable to diesease for their first month or so

  • @gabe5533 They would have died if she didn't do what she did.

  • whew! i thought the sceond one was dead! but when i heard it chir[, thank the lord!

  • why would tyr to crack tyhe egg with a knife?

  • I dont think your suposed to crck at it

  • Very cool. I did not think this was possible but there you go. Really curious to see if they made it and developed normally? I know this was three years ago but still :D

  • 10:19 "had a little bleeding so I hope they're gonna be ok" lol who the fuck uses a KNIFE to do this shit?!

  • damn she cracked it like a boiled egg

  • I hope they did okay. The owner did a brilliant job with this assisted hatch! Bleeding can happen even when the chick hatches unassisted and this was not caused by the knife in my opinion. She is braver then me I would have been terrified to do that!

  • That, was intense.

  • THERE WERE 2 CHICKS INSIDE THEY WOULD HAVE NEVER SURVIVED IF SHE LEFT THEM GET OUT ON THEIR OWN COME ON GUYS IT'S OBVIOUS THEY WERE STUCK ..she did a great job,i couldn't do that,i'd be too weak and scared of hurting them but she did it well :)

  • i come from a family of chicken farmers and we;ve had to help twins hatch. STFU. even hens will poke their eggs open if the chick can;t come out on it's own

  • CRUEL POKING IT WITH A KNIFE WAT PLANET R U ON U HORIBLE WOMAN!

  • @zwinkyismyaddiction, you oviously have no knowlage of what she is doing, and neither do i, but at least i'm not trolling her about it. BTW, the knife was to help the chicks SURVIVE, so that they can hatch without suffocating, not to torture them!

  • @zwinkyismyaddiction she had too you idiots.. there twins.. they would die without help cause very crowded and there too weak.

  • honestly, what kind of an idiot opens a chicken egg with a knife?

  • ok.there is two chiks inside mr.shell(egg).we need to remove the chiks makeing shure that we kill mr.shell.ok.begin!(bee beep bee beep)

  • okay, guys listen, believe me, she did very good! she KNEW not to poke throught the membrane while cracking the shell. PEOPLE LISTEN!! this has 2 chicks in it!! they do not have enough room to get out of that little shell! stop saying she is cruel. she did this perfectly right.

  • @courtneykaydavis WOOOOOW

  • @courtneykaydavis awwww, sweet little chicks :D i love their little voices inside the shell XD

  • stop saying that she is cruel to the chicks. shes just trying to help because there are two chicks in that egg. DUH!

  • You r a psycho bitch!!!!!

  • Oh my god, stop poking the poor things with a fing knife!!!!

  • Save the pandas!

  • 49 people were in that egg.

  • ya your dum dont open the egg with a knife dummy

  • WTF...IT CAN COME OUT BY ITSELF, IT DOESENT NEED HELP..U ARE JUST KILLING IT ...OMG POOR BABY CHICKEN!!

  • @MegaTanyang not in the real world twin chick usualy die because they have no room to poke out

  • she is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo dum

  • I feel like im watching a horror show

  • in 07:01 shes said use a nife........

    rong awnser

  • Oh no you dont want to poke the membrane... Dude you might as well just use a gun and shoot it for it to crack

  • Oh no, you dont wat to poke the membrane

  • that is pure evil

  • I WOULD BE VERY VERY VERY SURPRISED IF THESE CHICKS MADE IT.

  • @1thankful they did.

  • YOU ARE A VERY INPATIENT PERSON WHO DOES NOT UNDERSTAND NATURE!!!!!!! WOW

  • beautifull but disrtu 2 :)

  • 7:17 That didn't look like chicks...

    9:59 WTF!?

  • It would be better if you used a chainsaw.

  • Did the chicks live?

  • so much blood.....

  • xrandombobx, shut up! Why are you watching if you're just going to say she has no idea what she's doing? They obviously both lived, did they not??

  • Creativityuser123, you use a process known as candling to check on the status of a fertilized egg. You can see an outline of the developing fetus by holding up a flashlight or other bright light to it.

  • Some people are so stupid! She obviously has been doing this for a really long time. The babies were not hurt, there were two of them and i imagine a little difficult for them to do it themselves. ugh retards.

  • They are not dogs they are not supposed to have help to get out your only doing harm.

  • huuhh its bleeding o poor baby!!

  • I was curious as to how you found out there were two chicks?

  • @creativityuser123 If you hold the egg up to a light in a certain way, you can kinda see through it, seeing shadows. There would have been two dark blobs instead of one and that would have eventually ended up into the two chicks you see.

  • excellent job, they had no room to do it on their own, you must have done this before because you left the inner membrane intact you wet it as you went along well done, hope the 2 were ok

  • Gosh, I was just about to eat a boiled egg before I started watching this. What the heck!

  • doctore need more chickens is a chick surgeon =p

  • you guys need to get a life. she oviously knows what shes doing. and oviously they came out with blood on them cause when something gets born or hatches, they always bleed. its a part of nature. -.- she wasnt rough or anything. they are perfectly fine. stop making such a big deal out of this

  • @clareisthebestevo1 no, when chickens hatch, they are not supposed to bleed. AND she has no idea what she is doing. She only opened it because the egg was moving... but they move a lot weeks before they are ready, especially when they are cold, they squirm for heat. Plus, it is SUPPOSED to take average 8 hours to come out from the tome they first crack the shell, they most likely didn't even survive

  • @420nator no one cares. they look fine. i was just giving everyone my opinion, ok! stop getting so stubborn.

  • SHE SAID RIGHT IN THE VIDEO SHE DOESNT KNOW WHAT TO DO, SHE'S ON A WEBSITE ASKING FOR ADVICE!

  • @420nator BYC is a site made by people who raise chickens for a living so shut the fuck up dumbass. It's not like she went on fucking myspace or some shit.

  • I've never heard of 2 chicks surviving let alone one:) Great job

  • This is a great vid, thanks for sharing . Did the babies survive ??

I must comment however wasn't it a but dangerous to use a sharp knife like that

    Thanks again fir sharing :0)

  • WTF!!!!

  • Did they live?

  • There are 2 chicks in there. Very crowded and they were likely too weak to get out on their own so she had to be mother hen for them.

  • WTF knife??

  • you are so cruel

  • @cubanboy740 How? She did the right thing. They probably couldn't make it out by themselves.

  • It shouldn't be bleeding!

  • Comment removed

  • how long does it takes to get it open

    after 10,000 years WE DIED!

  • how long does it takes to get it ope

    after 10,000 years WE DIED!

  • WHY A NIFE!!!!

  • you killer!!!!!!!

  • This is awesome, Ive never seen twin chicks. congrats

  • WORST MOTHER EVER WITH A KNIFE A KNIFE!!

  • i can picture u as a surgeon.. like talking to your patience while there under.. and thats a good thing/ you would be or probobly are a great mom :)

  • it bleed cuz she kept poking it with the knife

  • @casey1360 it did not bleed becouse of the knife...thare is alwys blood at the bottom of the egg.....i hatch and grow chickens myself and even help them hatch and my chickens win state fairs.....helping them hatch is not wrong at all.......yes they can brake the egg themselfs but some of them cannot

  • @Iwatchtrek Did you read the title or even watch the full vid?? Twin chickens NEED help out if the egg or both would have SUFFOCATED!!

  • yeah it was good she was there to help cause the chicks probly wouldn't have made it out but the knife was a bit much.i recommend tweezers.

  • is she really that stupid she is not suppose to help them they are suppose to do it on there own

  • @akimble684 Are YOU really that stupid? Twin chicks need assistance leaving the egg, otherwise they would not survive

  • they look delicious... i mean adorable

  • Why are you helping it hatch with a giant knife? Shouldn't it be able to break free of the egg on its own?

  • I don't understand why she didn't use tweezers.... wtf. I don't think its animal cruelty, they didn't get cut... but seriously lady, use your brain please?

  • You should never help a chick open it's egg, or it may not survive, in da REAL world... Oh wait, thee's two of them, OPEN IT NOW, CRACH IT WITH ALL YOUR MIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @landolah Sometimes it really is needed because some chicks are weak and they can't open the egg... but you do it gently with your nails, not like that!

  • A real life "C Section" LOL

  • @waldenhouse thats what i was gonna say hahahaha!!

  • dammm its weird how both chikken fit in that egg

  • I recently had to do this with a peafowl egg. It's scary, but sometimes necessary.

  • 6:33 spaz out the door

  • 6:28 pause look out the door i think it's a kitty :3

  • Very sweet! I love how you are so careful and helped these little chickies!!!

  • sorry about the rant below, but i'm just getting fed up of stupid, and really unnessesary comments...(rant over). very good video, very brave of you to try double yolked eggs! you should do some more vids of hatching your chickens!

    Brackenburn100

  • Omg there so cute just there sleeping oh my its ganna think that's her mom lol

  • Thats amazing i have over 100 chickens and i was told u cant do that but u did it.

i give u alot to do that i cant do that ur awsome

  • Good thing they survived, that would have sucked if they died! I love chickens!!

  • WOWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • It's a miracle!

  • Obviously the chickens died, they weren't fully developed (hense why they were bleeding).

  • @danuta10 they didn't die, why don't you just ask a question instead of making a statement? A little blood from the navel is fine as long as it isn't too much.i've had alot of experience in this area. of my last batch of quails(8), only 1 hatched out on it''s own, i had to help the others out, and there was quite a bit of blood they survived (all of them), now happy adults and just coming into lay. just because they have a bit of blood doesn't always mean they are going to die.

  • @danuta10 you're stupid. Go read a book.

  • they're peeping!

our chicks just hatched yesterday and they sounded like that...

  • They can't get out because there's two of them in there, a lot less room than just one in an egg.

  • she sure did take her time getting them out, ida just cracked the thing open and pulled them out.

  • I dont know anything about chickens, but how come you cut the egg open rather than letting the chicks hatch themselves?

  • they are soo fucking cute!!!

  • VERY..:).....CUTE!!!!!!

  • this lady and the chicks are adorable.
