Some fought the British Black and Tans. Another one I am pretty sure was one of the members of Collins' Twelve Apostles.
What I meant to say was that Churchill wished he was allied with the English when it broke out. He wished the Irish-English conflict wasn't going on at the time of the war.
Man I would love to have a guy like this fighting for the Palestinian cause. Wash away all the barbaric suicide bombings and have clean guerilla warfare against Israel.
