Paint Shop Pro XI Tutorial - Changing Eye Color

I did everything you did and then i was excited to put color! NOTHING CAME!! I EVEN Change my color to Yellow! and it still doesn't show! I'm really confused now =/

Well explained, shown where all the tools where. Very good, i've just started to get into Paint Shop and everyone seems to be using photoshop, glad to see someone uses Paint Shop :P I'd feel lonely other wise :(

You can do basically the same thing to change hair color, but sometimes edge seeker isnt the best tool for hair.

hey this might sound stupid, but after i select around the eye i cant get off the freehand selection tool unless i right click, and if i do that the selection area gets bigger :S confused! lol

You really helped me out, now i can change the lipstick and clothes aswell.. but ive just got 1 problem, when you say press CTRL+D i do that and nothing happens, it worked before, but it doesnt now...

& I made it darker by, once you've clicked off the eye, click on it again (whilst the flashing border is still on) and go over it :) ... simple! xxxxxx

or you could just simply

select the eye and lasso it

then add new raiser choose your colour then paint the eye then cange the layer to overlay it wrks alot better

I think photoshop has Lasso but it's basically same idea. Make selection, promote selection to a new layer, color on the new lawyer (instead of original photo), then change the opacity of layer to whatever you want.
