The truth is that these ARE played by humans, but they're tool-assisted, meaning they had help from a computer (playing the level in slow motion then speeding it up.)

This is actually a human playing they just rehearsed because on some levels Mario collects the star coins that are easy to get and other times on the super skills mario passes the star coins in front of him sometimes he use's power ups when he can do without it's played by different people
