@josephdcarter Hi I have a rescue mink kit. she is doing very well. I have been offerd some duck for her. they are home bred ducks and will be dead when i pick them up. but after reading this comment I would like to know if its safe to give them to her? thanks
I agree! I love mustelids and so little is known about them. That's part of why I got this mink, to study the hunting/fishing styles of mink. I have been a falconer and that was a big part of the foundation of my training methods for this mink. Where are u from? I would love to talk to you more about this! How did you get into doing this? I desperately want to study wild mustelid species - they're so underappreciated and there's so little written on them, I feel the need to correct this. XD
yes Duck is safe mink food, but like all food given to a mink it must be FRESH. Keep it as fresh as you would meat you would eat yourself.

actualy this video was a while ago. She has sice passed on. She got sick and died from coming in contact with a dead duck infected with botchalism.
