Dylan has this artistic freedom that i don't think i have ever seen in any other artist...The fact that he constantly changes things up makes him undefinable. It's really amazing to see him shift from one persona to the other.

Im 58. I recently saw Dylan in Tucson. My ticket was free and it was barely worth the money.Dylan sang only his new stuff and it wasnt good.He mumbles the words and has no stage presence.I was underwelmed by the show.

@zyxquark the beatles were mostly a studio album and not good live. lennon did his little "jig," whenever a hard part or harmonizing came because they wanted the crowd to scream over the bad music. The beatles "studio," music (almost all of it) could not have been played live at that time, and thats why right after the shea stadium performance, you hardly see them live ever again. the beatles started the "studio band," trend, and i love them for that.

The were absolutely excellent, even when beatlemania started, with their earlier tunes. As soon as the likes of Rubber Soul, Revolver and Sgt peppers make their debut, however, they are officially a studio band, and lennon would tell you that himself. Its the reason he stripped his solo act down
