  • I'm from Tennessee and stayed at the Clermont Deluxe during the nationals since 1986. It was a most cool place to camp and stay. Breakfast in the morning and basic drive-in food at night. The showers were excellent with hot and cold water, which was lots better than the garden hose hanging from the gutter on the rear of the building in the 80's.

I miss the place and the good times.

  • Thank you for taking the time to record this historic moment, the closing of the CLERMONT DELUXE!

  • That is a good thing I do not go to Drive-Ins anymore. Even though I have never been to the Clermont De-Luxe, I went to ABC Noblesville (now a Bail Bonds place), Pendleton Pike (defunct), Northside Theatre (now homes), and Westlake (now apartments). Is the Twin Theat-aire on Southeastern Avenue still around? If so, that, Tibbs, and Greenwood are the only Drive-In movies that are still around. DVD rentals and sales are replacing Drive-Ins. Drive-Ins do bring me back memories!

  • UGH!!!! This was the only nice drive-in left. Now if I want to go to one I have to go to Tibbs or freakin Greenwood. WHAT THE HELL! B****es....

  • this is so sad...i grew up with this drive-in
