Gundam Wing, may be the past, and Gundam 00, the future, but their both one of the best Gundam series in my opinion. ALSO they both have movies at the end of thier series, so theres a little bonus.

Kira in Freedom/Strike Freedom has plot armor as thick as Herro in Wing Zero, although he's more emotional. Heero would beat Setsuna hands down only in season 1, by the time on the movie Setsuna was a Innovator and Ace Pilot who has as much epic win as Graham. He used a Flag to take on three GN-XIIIs and won.

@lkilindo1 I fell asleep in front of gundam seed when I was a kid. Now, Gundam wing, I did not understand it when I was young. I am rewatching the show now and enjoying it. What got me into the whole series was G Gundam. But Gundam Seed sucked. It felt like watching one of my parents' spanish soap operas. Wing I did not enjoy until later and I have to admit Seed was ABSOLUTE ANUS (to be nice about it)! No personal offense to you, of course.

SEED is more based on relationship building between the characters, which sometimes take a whole episode up. I have to admit the first 30 episodes are quite slow and basically just battle encounters between the Archangel crew and ZAFT. However after that it picks up fast. SEED wasn't too bad however it wasn't much different from other Gundam series (in overall plot). The music in SEED was undeniably good.

SEED was generally much popular to the Japanese crowd though.

Not a sense of a cry baby all the way like Seed. I don't mind flaws in characters (they're all human) but Seed just planted disaster.

I would assume that all of the pilots were orphans at some point of time, Otherwise how could you explain the total lack of family connections save for Quatre? I just assume orphans were scooped up and had their lives enveloped in the build up to Operation Meteor.

heero was originally the adopted son of Odin Lowe *the man who killed the original heero yuy*. after lowe's death, heero is taken in by dr J and is put in operation meteor.

duo was an orphin raised in a catholic church, when the church is destroyed by OZ, he is found by the creater of deathsythe(who's name i forgot) and also is in operation meteor.

wufei had a fiance and was about to marry her when OZ forces attacked the colony. she died and he joined OP M too

They don't trust ANYONE with the Gundams. If they just "hid" them, they might fall back and use the Gundam improperly like what happened with WuFei. If they managed to avoid the Gundam, someone else could get ahold of the Gundam. Keep in mind, these aren't common mobile suits, they're some of the absolute MOST powerful in that specific universe of Gundam.

By the end of endless waltz, we are to presume the gundam pilots including Wufei has all their internal issues and struggles dealt with. If that is so, to destroy the gundam by your reason would imply they have no faith in themselves in terms of mentality and control with avoiding to use the gundams for negative means like Wufei.

I do understand hiding them in case others finds it. Gundam Wing has one of the most idealistic ending where peace actually is attained.
