Well, mine was a private seller on Amazon.com... and it was still cheaper than what I found for just the first game (In fact, I can't even remember if it was $16 or cheaper).
i must vehemently disagree with some commenters' suggestions on how to knock someone out. Melee weapons are most effective centered on the torso. A baton to the back is always a sneaky take-down; the head is for aiming guns at.
Either way, i'm still waiting for a good example of stealth in one of these missions. i reckon that would mean no alarms going off or enemies being alarmed and shooting and all hell breaking loose. Entertaining commentary as usual, though.
There's a cheap but very time consuming trick to get rid of enemies the pacifist way.
Crouch and sneak up behind an enemy, then wack in the back of the head. Most of the time they go down with one hit and you don't need low-tech skill. Just make sure your crosshair is "over the back of the enemy's head".
@Cassavius Depends on the difficulty, on Hard it needs to be the back of the head, Realistic it needs to be the side of the head from behind, on Medium (this LP) you can hit them in the ass and it knocks out lower health enemies. On Easy you can step on their foot and they'll explode :D
though the dialog isn't as good, going in through the surface is a lot easier. Navara kills all the nsf guarding the entrance, the key is in plain sight, and the computer to turn off the cameras is right there. All you have to do is avoid one guard to get the ambrosia.
Though you miss out on a lot of exploration experience and ammo and what not
This is such an excellent game. Watching this LP reminds me just how one of a kind it was and still is. I would say "they just don't make them like this anymore" except for the fact that they never did before it or after it. Deus Ex stands alone as a bar set long ago, which no developer has yet tried to meet again. Pretty sad.
@psyjax Well, I think that Fallout 3 and Oblivion have come kinda close to this style of game, but they don't give nearly as many choices in how to do things.
I thought the tunnels went to Castle Greyskull. Come on, somebody had to make the joke...

1) I don't believe Deus Ex 2 has multiplayer.
2) I don't know if Deus Ex 1 (GOTY) has flamethrower in multiplayer.
3) Deus Ex 1 is way better (although 2 is good as well).
(Depending on what kind of computer you have, you could get "Deus Ex Complete", which contains both games, and is pretty cheap)
