Nice machine and good vid. How are they with rocks and other debris on the ground? I'm running a Berti ECF on my 320C and im getting about 400 hours out of a set of flails, even after hitting dirt, rocks, steel, you name it. Its a bit slower but running costs are extremely low, a bit of grease every day and a new set of flails and belts every 400 hours. Its good for up to 10 inch material but nowhere near as quick as a fixed knife machine.
that is one hell of a piece of kit for all the flow it needs! we operate osma flails for railway maintenance but this thing wud chew it up and spit it out!
The thing with mulchers is that you buy a machine to suit your application. No good buying a Dennis Cimaf if only need to mulch light material. We have USM units that do up to 6" (150mm) material and units for mini excavators down to 2 ton that do 100mm material & grass, scrub, lantana etc. Denis Cimaf units will do up to 400mm material.
