Quick question about Pioneer AVIC-X9115BT the stock(Attached) USB connection (Wire.To.USB.Female) Is Broken on the tip! No way can a USB device plug in. Can I Splice & Replace A USB(Female) extension piece and still connect iPod conn.? If Not How can I Fix this, or am I Screwed? Thanks!
@maseface1 Any tips you can share with me? I tried doing it the exact same way as in the video but it's not coming out easily like that. Any way you can help me?
After you move the yellow wire to the top position, do you then connect it to the green parking brake wire? If not, what does the yellow wire connect to?
hey i did this and the improper parking brake lead error comes up do u have any advice i did hook the mute wire and the parking brake lead together and hooked them to the ground and i can watch until i get moving then i guess the gps shuts it off
@dakoyote This is the bypass for the AVIC-x930bt. It allows for full navi and dvd functions while driving. No park brake or switch required. I will post the AVIC-Z130, as soon as I get my hands on one. I own a mobile electronics shop and I sell pioneer. I have not seen the Z130 yet. I ordered them in January. I don't think they have been released yet. Pioneer is still running the rebate on the Z120 until Mar 31. Maybe that earthquake & tsunami in Japan has slowed production.

@Jonbemke The yellow and black should be in the top of the plug (the side with the clip) second hole next to the red wire for the rear view camera

I'm planning on buying the AVIC Z130 this week. What does bypassing allow the unit to do that it otherwise wouldn't?
