@peggyea2k8 It will be a whole lot easier to just buy one off amazon.com fro $12.00. I did this before they started selling them. Anyway, I just used glossy paint for everything.

I should try something like that, now that GH Van Halen is being shipped out to those who took advantage of the GH5 promo. But I expect they'll make an "official" Frankenstrat faceplate since they did for GH Aerosmith and GH Metallica.
