I have another tatic, but it's a little more difficult. I use it against enginners that stay with their backs against the wall, but stay above their dispenser. I just sap their sentry, switch to ambassador and head shot, than just do a regular shot to kill them, so the enginner could not remove the sapper from the sentry. It's really good, but it's a very skilled technique.

I know another way that works better with conniver's kunai that's stab-n-cloak. With the health you get from the stab you get enough time to cloak. Good in crowded engy nests.

@rainers10 Go Pyro and spam flame everywhere. If they are a dead ringer keep flaming the area after they feign death, make sure you catch them on fire, this makes them visible. If you have a "critical hit on burning enemy" melee weapon, they are very useful for killing the 10X health boosted "dead" spy. If not just keep flaming. your team mates will likely join in when they see the flaming spy running around.

3:25 If you are disguised you can also use the camping strategy with dead ringer. When disguised and cloaked by an enemy dispenser with the dead ringer it basically becomes a cloak and dagger. If someone bumps you they will see your outline but you're cloak also refills

None of these tactis work a 100% you have to improvise acording to the situation, I sometimes ambassador-kill a pyro or demo guarding the engie, then cloak and dagger when the engie attacks crouching behind a dispenser untill he forgets me, there are countless of various tactics to employ.

in real life for me: tactic no. 1- stabbed engineer but killed by his sentry 2.- killed by him or his team 3.- killed me and repaired his sentry or something 4.- raped by his team as soon i get on other side 5.- killed by engineer because i got spychecked and he never turns his back 6.- his sentry revenged him didn't get time to sap sentry and then all other stuff 7.- killed by engineer 8.- killed by sentry or failstab and got killed by engineer and sentry 9.- no way for me (shitty skills)

One of the only problems with the tele, stab, and sap, is that you could be tele-fragged in the process. Trust me, it happens far too often than not.

you should also mention that using the Sap, Sap, Sap techinque is incredibly effective if you coordinate with a teammate who's a pyro or other assault class, and they come in on the helpless engie just as the buildings are shut down.

Also need to mention that wiser engies will just shoot you first.
