Look, you get older, you want to do different things musically. The anger/angst that drove you when you were 23 just isn't there when you are 40. You can't make the same music anymore because there simply aren't the feelings needed to make it. Moreover, it doesn't appeal to you to make that music; you are older, wiser, wealthier... calmer.

I still listen to my SG collection, I still enjoy it. I can enjoy his new stuff too. Really, it's ok to move on to different things.
