This compilation was beautiful. The funny thing is, most people I know are sort of terrified of The Cramps. But Lux and Ivy were married for 37 years. Their band is a love story.
Thanks for the tribute. A great tune..one of many and an even greater guy. Always will be a cramps fan, long after the black clothes and make up has gone :) Them lyrics done messed up ma head ha ha
i saw the original group at the troubador in LA one night and stood like 6 feet in front of them and all i did was stare at Ivy's leg's the whole time ...and have nasty thinks. it was a very memorable show.
dont forget he also wore the human bone necklace..(i think) i have the original poster "lord taught us" that i stole from the front window of a record store..but the fucked thing is,,,the beauty of the originals was there was gold ink outlining the words,,but the sun faded it...so i am going to re-do it...i'm a painter and will carefully fix-it someday... then frame it.
i had no idea what i was in 2 as a guest of a friend,,but the second they came out,,man-o-man,,the small club went ape-shit..
yeah i wish i could go back myself...i swear,, the whole time i was like 6 feet in front of ivy on the right...an the stage was like 4 feet high...so all i saw was her legs and her mini skirt..and i couldnt believe this chick was playing rythem guitar so loud and she was soo fucking cute.
and yeah,,i was told Brian's necklace was of somebody's bones.. so its probably why Kid had them too. take care old stick....rock on.
LOOK MAN...i wasnt watching her fucking hnds or what the hell anyone was doing...all i remember is those perfectly shaped leg's..and that red mini-skirt right in my face.
she could of been juggling elephants and i wouldnt of noticed.much less who was plying lead or rythmLOLreally,i couldnt flash my head around fast enough to see all the Psycho-ness going on...it was so loud and far-out,,,its all a mish-mash in my head. i did have all the orig, 45's but fucking sold them 4 $ to eat,,damn it,

Sure, of course... but Lux and Ivy said that the Cramps was also the child they never had, so they could be mushy when they wanted to! ;)

She is pretty gorgeous - she's too cute but she plays lead not rhythm.
