unfortunately it seems that whenever Ikeda Sensei comes to NYC, I'm working and can't make it. I've wanted to go for years now.

My apologies for complaining about the lack of technique and not being able to hear what he is saying. I now ammend my complaint to I still can't hear what he is saying about unity and breaking balance. I am sure that I will hear it from Sensei when I do get the chance to go to his seminar when he comes to Bond Street dojo, later this year. Thanks for the correction.

I'm going to tell you one thing : this balance breaking stuff what he is demonstrating is very hard to learn and not many people out there know this internal art.

unfortunately, it appears this video isn't that helpful considering the audio quality. there is very little technique shown compared to speaking of technique. I'm hoping to catch a seminar with Ikeda Sensei later this year.

Ikeda Sensei is not teaching techniques or speaking about them - its all about balance breaking. I've been to one of his seminars (France last year). Every of his 22 classes were not about techniques - it was all about unity and balance breaking - something you will most likely not even see on 99.9% of aikido schools.
