By far , the Shawshank Redemption is better !! It is considered one of the greatest ever films in history so i dont see any logic in your choice mate ...With due respect , the fact that he lost an Oscar to Hanks isnt a credible point because we all know there are those who won Oscars who were not deserving it . Good selections but you bottled it on yo # 1 !

"Лестница Иакова", "Таинственная река" - безусловно тоже великолепные работы, в которых Тим блистательно сыграл и наполнил их драматизмом. Но по глубине и выразительности "Побег" - лидер. Фильм буквально заставляет зрителя сопереживать герою на протяжении всей этой восхитительной истории.
awesome list, but i would have put jacob's ladder first ! i thought that movie was just awesome! i had to watch it a few times before i got it tho. i love those brain twister movie's!!!
well he won an oscar for "Mystic River', so i thought it would make sense to put that 1st. He should have won one for "Shawshank Redemption", but Tom Hanks beat him.
What I ment with my comment is that i find Shawshank to be a much better movie than Mystic river (though it was good as well). But I can agree Tim might have been better in Mystic River.

some stuff...
1.-Arlington road sucks balls... First 40 minutes are ok but then everyting falls down
2.-Tim Robbins gets Rape in Shawshank redemption...
3.-Tim Robbins gets Rape in Mystic River.... (Both exelent movies but 1 too many rapes for me....)
4.-Jacobs ladder is at least 3rd
5.- The song is horrible

@clubdj95 You know Tim Robbins was never nominated the year Shawshank Redemption came out. Morgan Freeman did though.
