  • Thanks for sharing the fishing videos. We are still getting rained out her out west, so all I can do is watch videos of other people fishing to cure my cabin fever.

  • Dave,

Thanks for the great video, I love bass fishin' but I would rather fish for specs anytime of the year, so I know how much fun you are having, keep up the good work!

  • looks like a mudcat or yellow cat. Both are not really a tasty fish. Channel or Blue cats are the best.

  • I like your attitude and you tips man. I would love to try this place where you are in this one. But I was diagnosed with liver cancer 3 weeks ago and I dont think i'll get to go again but Hey, watching you is almost as good as being there my friend, Thank You JourneyOutdoorsMan...See Ya Later

  • @l3lackout77 im so srry to hear tht man

and go figure..sittin under a bridge

  • if you grab the catfish from the belly side just below the 2 side fins you can hold it tight and it wont fin you

  • hey dave, enjoyed your video keep em coming. i'm a crappie fishin fanatic, so i watch and read just about everything on the subject. be cool bro.

  • Where are you fishing ,what area?

  • @midnight60466 I was fishing at Alum creek lake in ohio

  • i have been stuck by a catfish and it hurt really bad and it made my finger bleed so bad but good job of fishing

  • Good tip on the bobber stop.. I will use that one!

  • Good vides dave

try a rubberband for your slipknot

    I've used them for years

  • how do u rigg it with a rubber band, im tired of buying bobber stops

  • @Flocko614 get a small rubber band break it and then a knot on the fishing line and make sure you tie a small knot so it can slip through you guides with no prob. tip (two extra small knot work best, and wet your fingers before you adjust the rubber band for the depth.)

hunt hard, hunt safe, eat well.

    - dave

  • its nice to see a video on bank fishing

  • you should try a little minnow shaped jig, and tip it with a wax worm it works really well.

  • good tip

  • crappie fishin is a blast man! early spring time around where i live is unreal. best i ever done was this year when me and my buddy brought home 205 of the things. and we just kept the nice ones. we threw twice as many back! i agree with you that the key word is doubles!

  • i love crappie fishing, so love your videos, relaxing outdoors.

  • Crappie probably the best tasting freshwater fish I know. Really great stuff. Get a mess of them, bread them, fry them. All you need a a case of beer and some friends and it's a party.

  • so whens the party? hahaha

  • Yellow bellies? We call them bullheads or hornpout. Good eatin but stay small. Grab by belly put a finger aroung the fin. He'll flip and stick u that way! Crappie! Haven't C fished in long time. 10" limit here. Put tape wraps around pole for lengths. Always exact. Great how to tips on the float. I use the smaller yellow one. Balloons work great with a wind. Drift it anywhere. Want the crappie feeding? Put nasty bait in a can, rot, get maggots and throw in the water. Cooked rice works too.

    5*s

  • Yellow belly bullhead, aka brown bullhead. Yellow belly for short.

  • Thanks for the return comment. I thought it was a bullhead. There are like 20 differant species. You check any of my fish vids out?

  • yeah, and you really know your stuff man!

  • Thanks Bro, I try!
