Dakota, congratulations on your victory as The People's Choice. That was a remarkable competition as the top two horses just kept running and running! It makes me smile!
Dakota, my daughter says you are a sweet young woman and she would like to see you in the finals. So you've got a vote from me. I was homeless myself for more than a year about seven years ago.
Back in the 1980's, I was a TV anchorman in Myrtle Beach at Ch. 43. I hired and trained Martha Hunn, later went on to anchor at WBTW TV13 and Fox. I hired and trained Nikki Bulman (Nicole Casey) anchors at WBTW.
BEST WISHES in your career, wherever it takes you!
Poised, articulate, and a message to reach out and give hope to people who are in tough times. That's what I call a role model- something fare more important than simply winning a pageant, but rather playing it forward to other young people who need to hear Dakota's words and her message of hope. Pride is the first word that comes to mind after hearing hearing her words of inspiration. She has my vote!
