  • I am reading the book, but I have already guessed what the little surprise for SLS's fans is.

  • You are killing me. Now I will have to read this book ASAP, can't wait until the weekend.

  • @JudgeRhadamanthys But I'm killing you with love, right? And books? ;)

  • I did love Summer of Love and Language Lessons. I still need to check out your first book. And, you write a very nice steamy scene. ;-)

  • @tigerslayer2230 The first book is getting a rerelease this month, so hold off for that version. It's a lot better. :)

  • I ordered my copy the minute I saw your video! Ordered your first book with it, can't wait to read them!

  • Please say that Jace made it to heaven he is too good for hell !!!!

  • @Llaihreneiyi I don't think Jace would end up in Hell either. Wherever he went, I'm sure it was a good place.

  • woohoo :) yes i was so looking forward to this woo lol

  • Congratulations on the release. Good for you!

  • 2. this video and it enlighted me! Now I know exactly how my short novel should look like. Btw, you look very nice with longer hair, really! :D One question, are you a red-haired or is it just me and my old computer? :D

  • @doxepine Glad the idea is helping to inspire you own. That's how it tends to work. Creativity is a virus! As for my hair, I was light blonde as a kid but get darker every year. I only have some red in my beard when I grow it out.

  • 1. Jay! I'm so happy you released your new book! Congrats! :D You gave me great inspiration with this video - your book seems to be both religious and metaphysical (purgatory theme and how you see it as an author) and I've been thinking myself about writing something with similar topics lately (short novel about a gay men who dies from lung cancer and finds himself in 'the other world' where he meets all his boyfriends and lovers), but I couldn't put all my ideas together. But then I watched...

  • Get out! Those are amazing prices. Have you ever done a video explaining how self publishing works and how you got into publishing that way? I'd be very interested in a video about that. Congratulations!

  • @warmgulfwind One of my first videos was about self-publishing being the way of the future. As for how it works, I think most people would find it dull, but maybe I could make a video about the process in general and what it's like emotionally. :)

  • @JayBellBooks I'll have a look for that video, thanks. I for one wouldn't find hearing about the process boring, I'm interested in writing and publishing without seeking approval from publishing companies sounds ideal. I just don't know the first thing about it. And the emotional ride is part of the process- I'd love to hear about that too if you're willing to share. The mechanics of how people achieve what they achieve is fascinating to me. That's why I read autobiographies: explanations! :O)

  • Your longer hair looks cute! :)

  • Is Tim in hell for what he put Ben through? Can't wait to read this. :)

  • @onyxman8 LOL I got a good chuckle out of this idea! :)

  • I like this idea. It sounds very visual and by that I mean that I would imagine that you have to build your own universe that the characters play in. I love that kind stuff. It actually sounds like something someone could make a movie out of I'll stop at B&N and order it.

  • @brentbraniff Thanks Brent. There was a rich tapestry of myth and religion to draw from, so some of the work was done for me. I tried to put a new spin on the more explored of these concepts unique though, and tried to use gods that weren't the most obvious choice. ...plus I made a lot of stuff up, so yeah. ;)

  • Congrats and I love your longer hair!!
