Politicians lack the sight to address the fact that their supporters' ideas and beliefs are important when it comes to the public's overall view of them. So they picked Mccain as their sacrifice, it fullfills his dream of running and they picked Palin because they knew she would destroy all the respect Hillary had built up. I'm sad that Ron Paul didn't get the nod. My vote is going blue this year, but if I had heard something of this quality last night during the debate, I would at the very least be in the air about it but would probably be voting red. Where are people like Ron Paul in our politics? He's too much of a fiscal conservative? Right now I would love to have a fiscal conservative like him in the Whitehouse leading us out of this depression.
