it actually has been gaining popularity, where i am.

Maybe there are some who think that it is a bit annoying because they hear about it so much... but that is how some popular music is like too... anyway, Japan is a very interesting country, their traditions and culture is fun to learn and the language is awesome.

i little of both! i took japanese for 4 years, and even went over for a few months as an exchange student in high school, but was notoriously the worst! my former sensei laughed when i told her i was moving there-- even though i suck, i'm still the only one of her students that moved there!

yes, muzukashi means "hard," but it can also carry a negitive conotation. i was going for meaning over literal meaning, and am totally willing to accept that my tranlation isn't stellar.
