I think the last comment is harsh. The lead vocals are note perfect. I agree the male vocals are not the best but technically correct. What I have to take exception with is using the track as a vehicle for a sax solo. I don't know what else the set contained but this song is not designed for this. I had the pleasure to jam with Alan Hull some years ago and I am sure this is not what he had in mind. The musicianship is excellent but I feel the use of sax is superfluous.
I am quite sure that you can do much better. The lead singing is not good enough and so is the harmony singing. Rehearse, rehearse -the song is worth it and so are you!
The problem with this track is not so much the vocal or sax but the tempo. It's so slow it sucks the life out of the song.
