@kateelynn97 The reason it sounds off (the strange speed up and slow down of notes) is because Synthesia can't process well when multiple windows are open. (the recording device, maybe other windows) The actual MIDI file used for this video sounds in time; Synthesia just processes things too slow to play it correctly sometimes.

As I've used screen recorders before, I can understand if the picture is a bit laggy.

But the song sounds flat. The dynamics are the same all the way through, the left hand is too loud in comparison to the right hand. In short, this has no emotion. It's like it's in 2D instead of 3D. There's really nothing to it, besides a bunch of notes.

This is cool, but computer program can't possibly compare to an actual person playing. It just sounds too emotionless.

@kateelynn97 Ah... I know what you mean, and you're right. It's difficult, if even possible, for a computer program to show the type of playing skills that an actual person has. Sudden changes in dynamics, gradual changes in tempo, and other things aren't easily replicated in these programs.

So basically, playing it gets the best result. And it's cooler than just watching notes move on a screen.
