Palau is a beautiful place. Its people are nice, too. They are close relatives of Australian Aborigines and Papua New Guineans by genes. My ultimate dream is to live in Palau after I reach the age of maybe 60s. The only thing that I dislike is men and women have red teeth from chewing beetle nuts. And they spit red saliva indiscriminately everywhere.
Looking forward to have a vacation on this place. A perfect spot for diving. I enjoyed watching the video especially the part were the narrator spoke about the legend of palau. :)

I read up a lot on Palau, especially Peleliu, because of my interest in WWII battles in the Pacific. It's so ironic that bloody battles were waged on beautiful islands like Peleliu.

i will definitely!! people always talk abt europe, rome italy, barcelona, spain, NY,LA america but they never explore their minds that r good places other than rich countries.

I saw Palau on discovery channel, Ushuaia (wonder why they're not broadcastin this program anymore) 4 years ago. If i had the chance to visit only one place on earth before i die. i guess palau and machu pichu would be in the final. Lovely place. Hope have the chance to go there i like the nonpoisonous jellyfish lake. Greetings from Colombia 2 all people from Palau plz keep this place for the future, so we could at least dream of visiting it. peace!!! :D

I was at Palau in 2005, it is still very pristine and full of fish and coral underwater. I was there as a tourist though.

TOTALLY!!! If you haven't been there...I would suggest, you should visit and see the island for yourself. I'M VERY FORTUNATE to be able to live on that island. BELAU change my TOTALITY. A part of me was left and hidden on that island, a connection that will never end. AWESOME PLACE!!! A HEAVEN and Haven for me.

I read up a lot on Palau, especially Peleliu, because of my interest in WWII battles in the Pacific. It's so ironic that bloody battles were waged on beautiful islands like Peleliu.

Excellent video. I have lived here in the states since 1975 and watching this particular video makes me feel homesick. I do agree with the comments made by my friend President Tommy Remegsau . I would hate to see Palau end up like some of the islands in the area who are struggling economically. Conservation is of concrern also and it needs to continue to be a priority otherwise the beauty of Palau will deterioriate.
