These aren't ORDINARY Iraqis. At least not AVERAGE Iraqis. These guys were better off under Saddam rather than under Bush. Bush promises are rarely kept (get Osama, rebuild New Orleans, no child left behind, etc), so if Iraq is to be rebuilt, Iraqis will have to rebuild it by themselves. Bush won't help until the oil deal is done. But, once the oil deal is done, Bush has no reason to help. Catch 22. Iraq is nothing but the thing of the past. no one wants Iraq. Iraq is a country for the Suni arabs, over 80% of Iraqi people dont want to live in a country called Iraq. the Kurds in the north are the only thing that is preventing it from being divided and thats not because they want that, its because US wants it. sooner or later Iraq will be divided or US will have to come back in the future to once again go through this all over.
