  • its Trauma +30% =D (not sure if its 48%+30% or 48% + (its 30% so) 16%) if you know please /w me and why blizz doesn't show Deeps Wounds stacking?!

  • holy cow dude (pun intended). He must've critted about 30 times tops, so as the vid shows the deep wounds keeps stacking to do a d.o.t that does around 3890 dmg and keeps doing so every 2 secs for 6 seconds. which means, if u recreate this, by the time its done(assuming u dont keep kicking ass and crit more), u have done 11670 dmg. easily takin out anything with <10k health left.

    According to my friend who is in the beta *could very easily be BSing me* they removed the speed decrease on titans grip if you have 5 points in it. They also moved titans grip to the bottom of the fury tree and moved heroic leap up.

  • It's true.

    Heroic leap moved to a 31 point talent, alongside rampage, and they also added a new 2 point talent that gives all your white hits a 50/100% chance to add a 25% ms effect (that stacks x2 = 50% less healing in total)

  • My god I saw the new talents and they are ****ing AWESOME.

    I only put 1 point into the ms effect seeing as I should hit enough to keep it up without the 2 points. They changed the way Rampage works so it now gives the raid 5% crit whenever you crit for 12 seconds. Also they made Flurry no longer connected with enrage which means if you're pve you don't need to waste the 5 points.

    Only thing significant I noticed we lost was the extra 10% threat reduction. O well we just have to hold back.

  • TG is only a 1 point talent now and is the 51 pointer, it doesn´t have a speed decrease now but it will get something to reduce the damage a bit, blizzard have said this (I hope not though)

  • I don't think titan's grip with no damage reduction is really THAT op. It'll be cool but will it really be that strong? Plus even if it is a little on the op side I think blizzard owes us a little after bc...

  • warriors can kill any non tank within 2 secs, if properly geared, i play warrior and even i found it OP a bit

  • Just fyi to all you warriors, i'd be bitching a storm right now about titans grip in wotlk, it's horrible and you would do better dps and hit HARDER with 1hd weapons.. its the attck power conversion based on weapon speed. gogo!

You do realize that your weapon speed on titans grip is like 20% slower after all is said and done and just because your white damage is higher on your 2h doesnt mean that you are hitting for less per attack power point vs a 1h when you convert the top end damage/weapon speed. And I have a warrior that I havent played for 2 years since I lvl'd my druid. But end-game players that have played since the games conception tend to know alot about every class =).

  • I don't know I think Warriors will still come out on top. Are you aware that you get much more rage from 2h weapons. Also whirlwind will just be awesome.

  • Rage gen is the largest problem right now with titans grip, you assume that you won't have any miss ratio in there with the slowest weapons in game. Slower than a warrior using 1 2h weapon... You miss with a weapon speed that slow and your in a world of hurt. And there are idiots in BT soo... kill twins+ in swp or gtfo.

  • Well the way I was thinking about it. Assume the Warrior has 0 hit rating. Wielding a regular 2h w/o titans grip has a 9% miss rate. With this setup, without being attacked I have enough rage to cast MS and WW on the cooldowns and get a few Slams in there as well.

    Now with titans grip you'll have 2 weapons with a miss rate of 25% attacking 20% slower. This means that theoretically you'll have 2 weapons getting 75% of the rage of 1 2h weapon.

    These are approximate but you get the idea.

  • Also have to factor in the bonus damage and stats granted by 2h weapons. For this example I used Wicked Edge of the Planes and Bloodmoon.

    The WEotP has 97.6 dps, 23 crit, 48 ap

    The BM has 126.9 dps, 56 crit, 112 ap

    Also figure in that I am already hit capped for 1 2h with 16 gem slots devoted to crit and ap so assuming I was duel wielding that would get me closer to the hit cap.

  • wow.. you must not know that with level gains it takes more of any particular point to gain a percent like hit and crit. I really want you to think about what I just said along with the other warrior mechanics that are getting changed and then read what all you have typed. mabey you can figure this one out for yourself or mabey i'll just have to spoon feed you the RIGHT info yet again /sigh. GOGO

  • Well I calculated using level 70 logic because I don't happen to have the level 80 mechanics.

    In one of my other comments "Is that new to the expansion" a simple yes would have saved some trouble.

    Also some numbers would be nice to support what your saying...

    I'm not here to number crunch for you, you can go do the math like the rest of us.

  • We haven't gone through our final polish, so there is still hope. I, however, am in the process of picking out one of my alts to play should they decide to destroy the warrior even more than it already has been.

    If the dev's would listen to people we wouldn't be in this shitty place, but hey it's not like being forced into the arms tree to raid and pvp for all of BC was a bad thing /end sarcasm.

  • You do realize that with TG in it's current state you are gaining less per pointof AP than using traditional 1 handers due to the slowing effect placed on TG. Just because you are using TWO TWO HANDERS does not mean you only need the hit rating of what we would consider the current BF build. You fall under the same hit penalties as fury currently.

    Rage gen sucks atm, dps is spikey and not sustained, bad miss/parry/etc streaks wreck any hope at top notch sustained dps. welcome to a shit Xpac.

  • well since it's still "beta" there can be alot of changes in the time blizz is relesing wolk also if you look on wowhead some of the stam on the low new 70 gear is insane so imagine what a lvl 80 well geared is gonna look like health wise :P and i don't think they will put that super deepwound tick dmg in the game it's more of a fun testing grounds hehe still cool thoug XD

  • Hey, how much do you know about the haste/crit/agility conversions into percentages at lvl 75+? I'll definitely be going titan's grip but wanted to see whether or not crit would be worth stacking. I've always been a strength fanatic but with two 2handers, haste might be worth looking into as well. Any info on percent changes at higher levels would be helpful for planning.

  • i hope this change stays, this makes deep wound actualy usefull instead of the useless version we have.

    Altough i think stacking all damage might be wrong. they should subtract the damage done already when adding a new stack of deep wounds so it reflects the total damage not done yet over 12s. just my 2 cents.

  • deep wound was usefull against rogues, the simple fact that they cant CoS it off gives warriors a big advantage
