When I saw the promos of this song, I thought it was gonna be a flop

But I still went to watch the movie because of the star cast. And I really enjoyed the movie as well as the song. And I think it is only these three actors who could have carried this off really well. It would have been really stoopid if there was someone else in this song like Shah Rukh Khan or someone.

I am talking about Indian box office (which is the main verdict). I personally did not dislike the film, as I wanted to see how Bollywood does with an all time Hollywood classic featuring 2 of the greatest Hollywood legends. I liked the Bollywood version and its had that Indian sentiment in it. But unfortunately the movie did below avg business. But then again its expected. I mean nobody can beat Susan Sarandon and Julia Roberts. They are actress par excellence.

If people are still singing these songs 34 years after he left us that means he succeeded. Elvis strived for absolutely perfection and to delivery the most powerful performances possible because he wanted his music to touch, to uplift, to inspire. People still singing his music today...he'd be so happy he'd probably cry.

I have seen a multitude of impersonators - no one will do Elvis's songs like he did them - that's what made him Elvis. However, it's good to know that people all over the world enjoy his music and do their own thing with it. There will never be another Elvis - a unique talent that cannot be duplicated, just appreciated.
