I returned the Zi6, last spring when I got it. The quality is good, but if you're like me and pay attention to details, you can hear the motor in the background. I wasn't too fond about the little whirring sound. I might be the only one to actually care/notice it but I waited for the zi8 to come out.
the fact that its a pinhole camera with no focus or exposure control limits its usefulness. Will not replace a standard camcorder but makes a good backup buddy.

I prefer this to your ordinary camera. It has a much sharper image.
